 | Nestled in the Magaliesberg Mountains, 1 hour from Johannesburg and Pretoria, 4 km from the Hartbeespoort Dam in a malaria-free area. The Elephant Sanctuary offers an exciting, fully comprehensive elephant experience. We offer an exclusive, 'hands-on', educationally oriented experience. Walk, touch, brush down and feed the Elephants. Elephant Rides: Optional extra. Guests are guided in small groups on foot through The Elephant Sanctuary. Guides will provide in-depth information and insight into African elephants. You will be introduced to our elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants. Short trunk-in-hand walk with the elephants. |
